Under the supervision of the 21st Century Site Coordinator, the Assistant Site Coordinator is responsible for providing support to the 21st Century Learning Center Site.
The Assistant Site Coordinator will perform both administrative, and youth development functions, and be the responsible party on-site when the schedule of the Site Coordinator requires their presence outside of the facility.
The Assistant Site Coordinator will also serve as the primary Family Engagement Coordinator.
It is anticipated that the Assistant Site Coordinator will also serve as a lead Program Specialist.
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree or Greater; or, equivalent education/experience combination Some experience in staff supervision Must be minimum of 21 years old to work with Middle School Members at this location.
Valid driver's lisense One or more years providing youth development services Possess the ability to remain poised, positive, and energetic in a busy work environment Ability to communicate effectively using written and oral communication skills Ability to use the current technology applications to maintain records and obtain data and information Preference of candidates with familiarity and training in YPQA/I Preference for Bilingual/literate candidates; $.
50/hr for spanish-speaking and willing to translate and/or $.
75/hr for spanish-literate and willing to translate written materials Essential Job Functions:
Ensures that staff and programmatic activities comply with all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures established at local, state and federal levels for the implementation of OSPI funded Learning Centers Ensures project staff establishes and maintains procedures to adequately document program activities Ensures student and programmatic evaluation activities are consistently implemented Provide guidance and leadership to program staff to maintain consistent improvement in program quality.
Actively engage youth during the school day to build strong relationships Ensure a safe environment for all participants, staff, partners, and families Facilitate and provide any necessary translation functions, both oral and written Develop and implement partnerships and collaboration to strengthen family engagement and success Support a culture that embraces a continuous program quality improvement cycle Other duties as assigned.
